ENIGMA! 2001 D.C. (CD, jewelcase) Mexican blues-rock psych band from the Avándaro scene Brand new mint & sealed. Blues rock and hard rock band founded in Mexico City in 1971, they were contemporaries of groups such as Emiliano Zapata's Revolution, Three Souls In My Mind, Javier Bátiz, Toncho Pilatos and Peace and Love, among many others. At the time they were extremely popular thanks to the radio broadcast of their songs as well as an adequate advertising campaign by their record label focused primarily on maintaining the mystery about the identity of their members, hence the name. In their live performances they exuded attitude, talent and image that complemented their aggressive sound proposal.
